Sutherland Joins Law Firm Sustainability Network

August 7, 2013

ATLANTA, August  7, 2013 – Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP is pleased to announce its membership in the Law Firm Sustainability Network.  We believe that by working collaboratively with others in the legal industry, we can have a greater impact on preserving the environment.  In that spirit, we’ve joined the Network and support its mission to develop key performance indicators, foster knowledge-sharing, develop best practice guidelines, and recognize innovation regarding environmental sustainability.

Sutherland has taken many proactive steps toward becoming more sustainable.  For example, we are ranked #13 in “Green” in the 2013 Vault Rankings, our offices are currently LEED certified or seeking certification, and through our “Do One Thing Differently” initiative we have reduced our total paper usage by more than 25% across all our offices since 2009. “Our membership in the LFSN will provide us with additional tools to continue our sustainability efforts,” says Sutherland Sustainability Partner Thomas H. Warren.
