Sutherland Partner Jake Dweck presented “U.S. Controls on the Export of Crude Oil and the Prospects for Greater Flexibility” at the Argus Americas Crude Summit.  Dweck has extensive and diverse experience in energy policy and legal practice since President Nixon imposed price controls oil products in the early 1970s. Through nearly four decades, he has counseled energy businesses of every size and type, from IOCs and NOCs to trading, independent and regulated companies, on matters involving oil, natural gas and LNG, electric power, climate change, renewable resources, and energy futures and derivatives. In each area, Jake’s focus has been on strategic solutions in the intersection of business and government regulation.
