High Court Urged To Broadly Apply Debt Relief In Bankruptcy

Sutherland Partner Thomas M. Byrne delivered oral argument at the United States Supreme Court on March 18 in a pro bono case brought in conjunction with the Emory Law School Supreme Court Advocacy Project (ELSSCAP), a student-run Supreme Court litigation group.

Law360 featured a report on Tom’s argument in the case of Bullock v. BankChampaign, N.A. to resolve a circuit split regarding interpretation of a provision of the Bankruptcy Code.
