Platts Energy Week

In a recent segment of Platts Energy Week on WUSA9, Sutherland Partner David T. McIndoe discusses a federal judge’s decision to throw out the "position limits" rule proposed by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. The rule could have put restrictions on holdings of futures and options for 28 commodities and their derivatives, including energy products like oil and natural gas. In the segment, David discusses what the decision could mean for energy companies and consumers.
