Evidence Bill Gains Traction

In an article published January 31, 2011 by the Daily Report Online, Sutherland partner and chairman of the State Bar of Georgia’s rules of evidence study committee Thomas Byrne comments on a long awaited bill dictating what evidence is allowed in Georgia courts. Byrne notes that the current code is very outdated, but that he is confident that House Bill 24 will pass to modernize the code.
