Cynthia M. Krus, Lisa A. Morgan, and Terri Ginsberg co-authored an article, "Board Diversity: Who Has a Seat at the Table?" published March 2012 in The Corporate Governance Advisor. In the piece, they examine the present state of diversity on boards of directors here in the United States and across Europe. They also analyze regulatory efforts under way that businesses should be aware of, spearheaded primarily by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and reforms mandated by the Dodd-Frank Act. In fact, government regulators recently established the Office of Minority and Women Inclusion, as required by Dodd-Frank; the Office will be charged with promotion of the government’s agenda for fair inclusion in the workforce.
