Several environmental groups have filed an appeal with the Oregon Department of State Lands over the agency’s approval of a dredging permit application submitted by the Port of Coos Bay. The appeal argues that the agency should have considered potential environmental impacts from the planned Jordan Cove LNG project in its evaluation of the application, as Jordan Cove LNG stands to benefit from approval of the dredging plan.
