Forty-four members of Congress sent a letter to U.S. Department of Energy Secretary Chu today, urging the Secretary to expedite the approval process for LNG exports. The Congressional members are from four major producing states, Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas. Of the 44 signatories, 10 are Democrats and 34 are Republicans. A press release can be found here.
