Speaking yesterday in Houston, Davis Thames, president of Cheniere Marketing, said that the unique natural gas market in North America has compelled Cheniere to adjust its business model for the Sabine Pass LNG terminal. Thames said that the Sabine Pass facility will function more like a natural gas pipeline than a traditional LNG import terminal once its LNG liquefaction and export equipment comes online.
