Gordon Shearer, CEO of Weaver’s Cove Energy, told the Herald News (Fall River, Mass.) that the construction of his company’s proposed LNG import terminal could create more than 1,000 direct and indirect jobs and bring in over $500 million in related revenue to the area. Shearer also said that his company will remain “persistent” in developing the project.
