Although the company believes its project will eventually receive the required state and federal authorizations, the piece states that many opponents believe the project will eventually be withdrawn.

Separately, the Fall River Herald News carries an editorial critical of the Weaver’s Cove LNG project , citing the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs’ doubts about the project in its recent environmental impact report
