Speaking to The Facts (Brazoria County, Texas), Mark Mallet, Freeport LNG’s vice president of operations and engineering, said that the terminal’s proposed natural gas liquids (NGL) extraction facility may make the terminal a more attractive destination for LNG cargos. Mallet also noted that the application process takes about one year and construction will take an additional year.
