Platts LNG Daily [subscription required] reports that energy industry analyst Ron Denhardt expects U.S. LNG imports to remain flat for much of the year. Denhardt points to the nuclear power generation problems in Japan and Spain’s prolonged drought as reasons why LNG cargoes might be diverted away from North America.
