Following successful bids for Alaskan offshore leases earlier this month, Shell vice-president of exploration for the Americas Annell Bay said that it is too early to discuss development options. The Calgary Herald (available via LexisNexis [subscription required]) reports that industry observers see the Burger gas prospect, which Shell will drill, as a possible source for an LNG project.
