The U.S. Coast Guard has re-established the temporary safety zone around the Northeast Gateway LNG deepwater port effective May 7, 2008, and expiring July 12, 2008. The original safety zones, with 500-meter radii extending from the submerged turret-loading buoys, expired on May 7. Today’s Federal Register provides additional details.
