The Herald News (Fall River, Mass.) reports that the commander of the First Coast Guard District in Boston, Rear Admiral Timothy S. Sullivan, has upheld the initial recommendation that the waterway near the Brightman Street Bridge is unsuitable for the transit of LNG vessels as proposed by Weaver’s Cove Energy. Gordon Shearer, CEO of Weaver’s Cove Energy, told the Herald News that his company is reviewing the decision and is considering whether to appeal the ruling.
