In a letter sent to FERC on Monday, BP and ConocoPhillips are seeking preliminary review of their Denali pipeline proposal to carry gas from Alaska’s North Slope to Alberta, according to the Anchorage Daily News.  The timing of the letter coincided with a legislative hearing on TransCanada’s rival pipeline project, which seeks $500 million in state subsidies under the Alaska Gasline Inducement Act.
