The Capital Regional District directors voted Wednesday to support a resolution, proposed by the Powell River Regional District, requesting that the Canadian federal government ban LNG tankers from the Inside Passage, a waterway along the coast of British Columbia leading to the proposed site for the WestPac LNG project.
