NATS [subscription required] reports that U.S. LNG import terminals sent out 29.7 Bcf of natural gas during the month of September, a decrease of almost 15 Bcf from the same month last year. NATS also notes that U.S. LNG imports through the first nine months of 2008 have totaled 266.6 Bcf, a substantial decline from the 652.1 Bcf imported into the United States during the first nine months of 2007.
