Calypso U.S. Pipeline LLC, a subsidiary of Suez Energy North America, has requested rehearing of FERC’s decision to require Calypso to show that its affiliate’s proposed Bahamian LNG terminal has been authorized by the Bahamian government prior to beginning construction of the pipeline proposed to connect the terminal to Florida. The company has asked FERC to allow it to construct a portion of the pipeline that would connect to Calypso LNG, LLC’s proposed Deepwater Port if that project is approved prior to the Bahamian project. The Feb. 16 Request for Rehearing is available in the FERC e-Library in Docket No. CP01-409. Platts LNG Daily also provides coverage. [Subscription required]
