The Town of St. Andrews, New Brunswick, unveiled its future land use plan yesterday. Citing the town’s tourist industry and reputation for small-town charm, the Telegraph-Journal [subscription required] reports that the plan specifically opposes the LNG projects proposed for the coast of Maine, directly across Passamaquoddy Bay from St. Andrews. A June 26 meeting will be held at the W.C. O’Neill Arena to discuss the proposed plan. The Municipal Plan Review website has further details.
