Platts LNG Daily reports that Petro-Canada and TransCanada, the developers of the Gros Cacouna LNG terminal, are unconcerned about recent reports that the proposed Rabaska terminal also is attempting to secure supply from Gazprom’s Baltic LNG project. Additionally, a Petro-Canada spokesperson stated that although Gros Cacouna filed its initial permit application after Rabaska, Gros Cacouna is now approximately eight months ahead of Rabaska in the Canadian permitting process.
