The Suffolk Times (N.Y.) reports that several local fishermen are questioning Broadwater Energy’s claims that it has established a committee to study the impacts of its proposed LNG terminal on the local fishing industry and to negotiate an appropriate compensation package. “Nobody out here has heard anything about this committee,” said a member of the fishing community. Broadwater Energy declined to name members of the committee, saying that committee rules and membership have not been finalized.
