August LNG Imports to the U.S. Market Fall from July

Platts LNG Daily calculates that LNG import volumes will total 64.09 Bcf for the month of August, 29% lower than in July. According to Platts, this decline in import volumes coincides with the rise of gas prices in Europe and large increase in LNG demand in Asia. NATS LNG Week in Review predicts that regasification volumes will remain relatively low for the balance of August but pick up in September. [Subscription required]
