In an interview with the Trinidad Express, newly-elected Jamaican Prime Minister Bruce Golding said that he hopes to renew negotiations with Trinidad and Tobago for LNG supply. Jamaica previously signed an agreement to import 160 Mmcf/d of LNG from Venezuela when negotiations with Trinidad stalled in March 2007.
