Yesterday FERC filed comments with the Department of Commerce regarding an administrative appeal filed by Weaver’s Cove LNG concerning the Massachusetts Office of Coastal Zone Management’s decision that the project is not consistent with the state’s CZMA regulations. FERC granted approval of the project in July 2007 but notes that its approval of the project was “conditioned on compliance with a number of environmental and safety conditions.” FERC’s comments are available under Docket No. CP04-36 on the Commission’s eLibrary.
