In documents filed recently with FERC, Freeport LNG announced its intention to amend its Waterway Suitability Assessment to include Q-Flex vessels.  As designed, Freeport LNG’s facilities could accommodate Q-Max vessels, but Freeport notes that the shipping channel is currently too small to receive such large ships. Freeport LNG’s filing is available in the FERC eLibrary under Docket No. CP03-75.
