In a study released today, Exponent, Inc., concluded that past Environmental Impact Statements have overestimated the environmental impact of open loop LNG vaporization on fish populations in the Gulf of Mexico. The Center for Liquefied Natural Gas commissioned the study after controversy erupted over the use of open loop systems in the Gulf. The CLNG press release is available through Business Wire.
