Greenwire yesterday connected LNG security to the debate over a contract to give control of U.S. ports to Dubai Ports World. “With several proposed LNG facility projects in the works, critics have said the potential will only increase,” reports Greenwire. Similarly, in the Gloucester County Times, Dave Scott, commander of the Coast Guard, Sector Delaware Bay responded to the concern in Delaware, noting “[port] facilities will still have to comply with all security requirements and the Coast Guard will be there ensuring that they do.” [Greenwire is available by subscription.]
