An analyst with the Canadian Institute for Energy Research yesterday said that an increase in imported LNG will not allay price volatility in the North American gas market. Instead, it will benefit exporters seeking to take advantage of the high gas pricesin Canada and the United States. “Natural gas prices are very volatile with no change in sight,” said Frank Henderson. “We have a very tight supply-demand market for natural gas in America right now.” Today’s Vancouver Sun has the story.
