Jordan Cove Energy has requested that FERC initiate the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) pre-filing process for its proposed 1 Bcf/d LNG import facility in Coos Bay, Ore. The proposal includes the 223-mile Pacific Connector Gas Pipeline, which would connect the terminal to West Coast markets. The company plans to submit its official application in January 2007 and has requested that FERC authorize the project by September 2007. Jordan Cove Energy’s filing is available in the FERC e-Library in Docket No. PF06-25.
