Weaver’s Cove Energy must submit additional information to Massachusetts on the potential environmental impact of its proposal to dredge Mount Hope Bay beforethe Department of Environmental Affairs will sign-off on the company’s terminal planned for Fall River, according to the state’s secretary of environmental affairs. Stephen R. Pritchard said Weaver’s Cove might be forced to scale back its plan to dredge from June 14 to Jan. 14 each year to just six weeks per year in order to minimize any adverse environmental impacts.
