The Pacific Coast Business Times reports on NorthernStar Natural Gas’ effort to revitalize the Crystal Clearwater Port LNG proposal. The project previously stalled in June 2005, when Woodside Natural Gas withdrew from a deal to develop the terminal proposed off Ventura County, Calif. with Crystal Energy. NorthernStar says it will file a new application with the California State Lands Commission and the U.S. Coast Guard in the next few weeks. Recently, NorthernStar’s representatives have been promoting the Crystal Clearwater Port with business leaders in Ventura County. NorthernStar is also developing the Bradwood Landing LNG proposal in Astoria, Ore.
