Speaking on gas prices at a conference on coalbed methane, Don Warlick of business consulting firm Warlick International said that public opposition to terminal siting, and market competition that draws supply to Asia, will prevent LNG imports from affecting US gas prices for at least the next several years. Warlick also suggested that developers will not invest in LNG terminals unless long term supply contracts are established in advance. Read more in yesterday’s edition of The Daily Oil Bulletin.
