California State Sen. Joe Simitian (D-Palo Alto) has introduced SB 426, a bill that would require a state commission to assess each of the LNG terminals proposed for California based on its ability to satisfy the state’s future energy needs and public safety demands, and to rank each proposed facility according to its location.
