Construction and operation of the proposed Kitimat LNG terminal in British Columbia “is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects” if the recommended mitigation measures are implemented, according to a statement issued today by Rona Ambrose, the Minister of the Environment at the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency.
