NorthernStar Natural Gas says it will comply with Clatsop County’s land-use procedures when applying for a zone change to accommodate its Bradwood Landing LNG terminal. Gary Coppedge, NorthernStar’s vice president for permitting and development, reiterated that the company never intended to bypass state and local permitting processes, as previously alleged by the county. Clatsop County Administrator Scott Derickson called the development “a positive step.” The Daily Astorian has the details.
