The Malibu City Council on Monday voted unanimously in favor of a resolution expressing opposition to BHP Billiton’s offshore Cabrillo Port LNG terminal. In an effort to raise funds to fight the project, the Council is hosting a fundraiser on Friday. The Council raised previously $50,000 to help defray costs associated with blocking the proposal.
