The San Diego Union-Tribune offers details regarding supply arrangements at the Energia Costa Azul LNG terminal in Baja California, Mexico. Shell’s first LNG shipments from Russia are slated to reach the facility by the third quarter of 2008, more than half of which will target U.S.-based power plants, Shell Oil representatives said yesterday. The facility is being constructed by Sempra, which also owns capacity and likely will source its LNG from Indonesia.
