On Friday, Sept. 22, the U.S. Coast Guard released its security analysis for the Broadwater LNG project proposed for Long Island Sound, concluding that the Coast Guard currently has insufficient resources to coordinate security measures necessary to “responsibly manage risks to navigation safety and security risks” associated with the facility. Newsday and an Associated Press article carried via The Courant provide further press coverage.
