Quoddy Bay LNG has hired Fred Moore, former Passamaquoddy Tribe representative to the Maine state legislature, to assist in the development of the company’s proposed LNG terminal in Pleasant Point. Three years ago, Moore introduced tribal members to Quoddy Bay LNG. “Fred has always had the best interest of the tribe at heart and has always believed LNG development presents very strong opportunities for the tribe,” project manager Brian Smith said on Thursday.
