A local environmental activist again has called on the Bahamian government to gauge public support for developing the country’s LNG industry by holding a referendum. ReEarth president Sam Duncombe reportedly collected 5,000 signatures for an anti-LNG petition to demonstrate that many voters do not support this type of industrial growth.
