Broadwater Energy has applied for an Army Corps of Engineers permit for work associated with its proposed LNG terminal offshore Long Island, N.Y. The permit would allow construction of a mooring system for the floating storage regasification unit (FSRU) and an underwater natural gas pipeline, as well as the placement of fill material related to the terminal.
