The Los Angeles Times reports that harbor officials have suggested suspending the preparation of the environmental impact report for Sound Energy Solutions’ LNG terminal, which is proposed for the Port of Long Beach, until the City Council declares its support for the project. A Long Beach Harbor spokesperson said, “We’re willing to pull the plug if the city isn’t going to support the project.” [Free registration necessary]
