ReEarth, an environmental organization that has called for a referendum on LNG development in the Bahamas, this week rejected Bahamian Prime Minister Perry Christie’s offer to engage in further dialogue regarding plans to establish an LNG industry in the Bahamas. She added that only a decision to bar the development of LNG infrastructure would pacify opponents. The Bahama Journal has further details.
