Philadelphia Gas Works’ plan to construct an LNG regasification terminal is “far from dead,” says Craig White, the company’s chief operating officer, despite comments made to the contrary by Councilman Frank DiCicco last week. Sources in the Port Richmond community suggest that PGW is negotiating with Hess LNG to draft a contract, but PGW has not confirmed the rumor. Yesterday’s Philadelphia Inquirer has the details.
