The LNG industry’s rapid growth in the past couple of years is attributed to the energy crisis spawned by increasing consumer demands, exorbitant costs and supply security concerns. World Gas Intelligence reports that large energy companies like Cheniere are doing well but that, according to A. Wayne Perry, managing director of Galway Group, not every interested investor can participate because “LNG is a real narrow sector” that is more accessible to large companies and crowds out smaller ones.
