The U.S. Coast Guard says that if BP’s Crown Landing proposal comes to fruition, then LNG tankers will traverse under the Delaware Memorial Bridge accompanied by armed escort vessels. Coast Guard officials note that in the event of heightened Homeland Security concerns, bridge closures could occur. Today’s News Journal has the story.
