Washington, D.C. – Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP is pleased to announce that Thomas R. Bundy, III has been named a Top Lawyer in the "Young Gun" category by the Washington Business Journal.
The Washington Business Journal's Top Lawyers annually awards the best D.C.-area attorneys in a variety of categories. This year, more than 500 attorneys were nominated. The publication selected Mr. Bundy on the basis of his "demonstrable success and excellence" in litigation during the past 18 months.
Mr. Bundy, an associate in the firm's highly-regarded litigation practice, focuses his work on complex commercial disputes. His substantive experience includes employment law, construction law, securities litigation, product liability, class actions, and general contract disputes.
Mr. Bundy is also involved with the firm's pro bono efforts and recently represented seven deaf individuals in their suit against a local hospital to improve the access of deaf patients to health care. The favorable outcome of this case was a settlement that set a national standard that is expected to be the model for hospitals across the country.
Mr. Bundy is Chair Elect of the Young Lawyer Section of the Bar Association for D.C. He also chairs the firm's Litigation Associate Committee and is a member of the firm's Hiring Committee and Associate's Committee.
