The Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002: Corporate Governance and Transparency Disclosures

Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP and Tauber & Balser (www.tbcpa.com) are hosting a seminar discussing the newly enacted Sarbanes-Oxley Act signed into law by President Bush on July 30, 2002. This seminar is designed for executive officers for publicly held and private companies. The primary focus will be the sweeping changes enacted in the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, along with rules proposed by the SEC, NASD and NYSE. Topics will include scope and effect of the legislation, role of audit committees, need for proper disclosures of corporations, etc. Speakers include Sutherland partners Peter J. Anderson and S. Lawrence Polk and Robert F. Richter, CPA.
